They say you can pick your friends, but not your family……you also can't pick your wife's family.

The campsite is the neighbours yard which they've said we could pirate for Christmas.

The bay is beautiful but its such a long way down after a few Christmas egg nogs…..

Tutukaka for Christmas

    Tutukaka is approximately 30mins east of Whangarei on the East coast of Northland. Stunning beaches galore, the marina is the gateway to the world famous Poor Knights islands, and Rick's in-laws live out there too….

  • Facilities

    Kitchen, ablusions, kids playground, etc. are absent. As is water and power.

    But the view ain't bad…..

  • Activities

    Lots of eating, drinking, kids hanging with the cuzzies, etc. A classic Kiwi Christmas…….

    You are looking down on the beach, and assuming the heads not too bad in the morning, a swim in the bay is well recommended!
